Delwin “Cookie” Fields lived outside the boxes people tried to hand him—cop, soldier, father, lover, believer, and a person who refused to perform identity for anyone. This project is a time capsule of that refusal: the quiet days, the hard days, the funny days, the contradictions, the tenderness, and the truth that keeps evolving.
